Zext has sql db that you need to import, default user is Admin with password admin.

I talked to Matt, he is still the best lead developer we have for Zext CMS. He will be back after vacation some time this year. So development status of Zext right now is on hold. Sorry guys, but coders need some time off too :-)

I have to finish up the forums, which I won't have done before the next release, all I want to get finished is the new blocks system, and then I'll get that version online!

The new blocks system is going to have a default page with a few main blocks, and other modules will have specific blocks for certain modules. 

I know I will be putting up an unfinished buggy version of Zext, but I want to hurry up and move away from the Lenix name.  There is still many more sections I have to do, but basically all modules besides the forums are completely done, besides the new features I will add for them.

The new version will be much easier to add features, and modules.  I hope I can get plenty of people to come in here and try to help find bugs so I can fix everything and get a stable release for you guys that have been patiently waiting.

I have not been able to test this cms for bugs, due to the script will NOT run on my home server, so I have no way of testing it.

I will stop offering any kind of support after the first release of ZEXT is online.

I have created a manual backup for the database, with a test account latched to it with admin permissions.  the password is test, that is if you have any problems with the installer.

No more updates will be made for this cms!!

Modding this CMS or themeing is not recommended at all.

I have the administration panel 50% functional, and it is completely recoded, with a whole entire new backend that is an actual system, instead of just a module to manage administration functions.

I'm going back on the site and finishing up a few more modules, such a attachments management, friends system, subscriptions, and a tiny other few things.

Most of the main modules are complete, I just need to go over them, iron out a few bugs, and then I can release for testing.

Once I open the new release and have it tested for bugs, I will start taking suggestions to what I should add, and modify, etc.

Thanks for being patient this whole time guys, the new release will be better than ever.

Almost every module has been completely created, just a few things need to be finished such as friends module and subscriptions, plus a few new extras.

In the next month, I will have the new script running on this website, ready for download by users.

Everything is a bit different, many things are the same, except the code, the code has been revised completely, everything works together so much better it's amazing.

You will notice a few new updates in this version, so far we just have a user control panel, with all new features, but it is much better than the user block that we currently have.

I've finished the articles system, i just need to add the edit article feature, and that's all done.

I've got the basis for the forum down, it will be a huge system like before, i'm not talking about a 275kb file, but I am talking about tons of functionality.

I want to add some features that IPB 1.3 and PhpBB 2.0 used for their forums, advance searching, many features, etc.

Users now have a UCP(User control panel), that has an overview page of your main account details, then it also has tools, settings, and general options.

The PM system will not be part of the UCP, they will be their own separate modules.

So far I have the base main core down, I have done the shoutbox, I have done the articles as well as user control center, my next task is to finish the forums.
