Hi guys, I know you all been waiting for new release of Zext CMS. Which was developed by Matt, last time I spoked to him. I lost his contact, and can't communicate with him. I hope his alright. If any body knows anything what happened let me know. The latest build I have of Zext CMS is under http://zext.org/dev/ you can take a look there :-) Also, I have this new idea for zext cms theme, take a look here and let me know what you guys think :-) http://zext.org/dev2/
To Matt: If you read this please email me buddy. Thank you.
Edited: 06/16/2010 I talked to Matt, he is still the best lead developer we have for Zext CMS. He will be back after vacation some time this year. So development status of Zext right now is on hold. Sorry guys, but coders need some time off too :-)

Well, I'm finally almost ready to take down this CMS forever, and use the new version of Zext.
I have to finish up the forums, which I won't have done before the next release, all I want to get finished is the new blocks system, and then I'll get that version online!
The new blocks system is going to have a default page with a few main blocks, and other modules will have specific blocks for certain modules.
I know I will be putting up an unfinished buggy version of Zext, but I want to hurry up and move away from the Lenix name. There is still many more sections I have to do, but basically all modules besides the forums are completely done, besides the new features I will add for them.
The new version will be much easier to add features, and modules. I hope I can get plenty of people to come in here and try to help find bugs so I can fix everything and get a stable release for you guys that have been patiently waiting.
Anyways, sorry for all the delays, I hope to have the new version up by the end of next month.
If anybody is willing to help code the project I am accepting new developers and graphic artists, so if you are interested please email me at creata.physics@gmail.com or send me a personal message on the site. Thanks again guys.

This is the first version of Lenix CMS, by it's original author Seth^^. This also contains several modifications created by me, which may or may not be fully functional. I MIGHT offer support for this release. I have not been able to test this cms for bugs, due to the script will NOT run on my home server, so I have no way of testing it. I will stop offering any kind of support after the first release of ZEXT is online. I have created a manual backup for the database, with a test account latched to it with admin permissions. the password is test, that is if you have any problems with the installer. No more updates will be made for this cms!! Modding this CMS or themeing is not recommended at all.

After I posted that, Matt emailed me saying that he will be sending me the latest copy of zext in couple of days. So the new cms should be live on the site very soon. I'm not sure about public release yet, will need to discuss that with him in more detail after its running on the site. But you should be able to see it live very soon. That what I was told, so will cross my fingers and wait.

Maybe there is a perfectly good reason for that. I am quite happy to wait given the fact he posted here recently explaining his current position.

I can't get in touch with Matt for a while now. His not even answering my emails. So I don't know guys. If I don't hear from him soon, I might need to look for other coders for this project. I'm tired of waiting and not knowing what the hell is going on.
